Mandy created SevaDog with her daughter Emma. After tragically losing their family dog Seva to a fatal car accident, they were inspired inspired to volunteer at animal shelters and rescues. After years of fostering, volunteering and working in rescue, they saw the need for something Mandy calls, family style rescuing. A new approach that focuses on connecting community resources with those in need while working as a family to help as many dogs as possible – especially those with no where else to go. Mandy takes the time to get to know her dogs and teach them life skills. Once she has a feel for the dog’s personality and needs, she can more effectively match them with the right adoptive individual or family.
