Restaurant Manager Position

One of the premier micro brewing companies in the Northwest is now accepting resumes for a Restaurant/Pub General Manager. The Manager of the restaurant/pub is responsible for the overall day to day operations of the restaurant/pub. This includes, but is not limited to: supervising a staff of 25+ employees, training and evaluating employee performance, conflict prevention and resolution, overseeing disciplinary actions, organizing special events, completing payroll, public relations, maintaining HR and OSHA regulations, writing schedules, interviewing and hiring new staff members, and overseeing all sales in the restaurant/pub.

This position is responsible for sales, communication, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling Hop Valley products. Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers and develops long term relationships thru trust with our distributor partners and our retail customers. This position is responsible for using past knowledge and experience within the beer industry, retail support data and local market trends to drive sales and profitability for Hop Valley Brewing. District Sales Managers oversee all of the issues pertaining to our customers and distributor partners experience such as quality control, retail execution, promotional and sampling efforts behind all of the brands in the Hop Valley Portfolio throughout the On & Off Premise segments within their sales territory. Packaging Line Lead

The ideal Packaging Lead has spent a minimum of 1 year leading a Beverage Packaging Shift. The lead will be responsible for scheduling the packaging crew, managing day to day operations on the bottling or canning line, variety line and coordinating production runs with the Production Manager. The lead is expected to start up and shut down the line, often alone. Troubleshooting of all machines on the line, sanitation of the filler and inventory of production supplies, and daily production counts are all required of the Packaging Lead. Basic mathematical skills are a must, as is a leadership mentality. The Packaging Lead will maintain a clean and well-kept packaging area. Fill out production reports and turn into the production manager daily.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year running a beverage production shift
  • Must have mastered requirements of Entry Packaging Tech and Packaging Tech 1
  • Knowledge of sanitation, pumps, HMIs, and filler
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to lift 75+ lbs and stand for long periods of time
  • Prefer Forklift Certified-can train in-house

Packaging Tech 1

The ideal Packaging Tech has spent a minimum of 6 months packaging a beverage. During work hours, the tech should be able and willing to show up on time, be able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly, and work a shift ranging from 6-12 hours. They must have the ability to stop and start all equipment present on packaging line, and possess all skills required of an entry level tech. They must be certified in forklifting by HVBC and have the ability to forklift both empty glass pallets and completed product. They must understand box erection and stamping, glass loading, label loading, casing, pallet wrapping, and proper pallet labeling technique. They must know all routines involving sanitation in the general packaging area, but not of the filler.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months packaging experience
  • Minimum 6 months forklift experience while certified
  • Ability to operate and maintain packaging duties and machines assigned during run
  • Ability assist in startup, run, and shutdown without assistance
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
