The Entry Level Packaging Tech must have basic experience working in a team environment. During work hours, the tech should be able and willing to show up on time, be able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly, and work a shift ranging from 6-12 hours. They must be able to take instruction in a fast paced production environment and have the ability to work at each packaging station. As time progresses, they will be expected to learn fork lifting, sanitation routines, and to startup and shut down the line at their station without instruction.

The Controller will lead the financial management of Hop Valley to insure successful accomplishment of annual company profit objectives. The Hop Valley Controller will provide primary financial leadership and support to the Hop Valley CEO and management team. He/she will also lead the finance accounting and procurement team at the brewery. The controller will direct and supervise the implementation of the MillerCoors’ accounting and control polices at the brewery related to: brewery revenues and expenses, balance sheet management, cash flow forecasting, federal excise tax reporting, fixed and variable budgeting, prompt and accurate payment of vendors, timely and accurate payroll processing and cost reduction. The Hop Valley Controller will also be responsible for direct management of procurement and provide on-site administrative support for HR, benefits, legal, licensing, tax, treasury, risk management and pricing.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
  • 5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing a team
  • SAP Experience
  • CPA and/or CMA Certification
  • Must have a thorough knowledge & understanding of general accounting principles with emphasis being placed on cost accounting, the budgeting process, production accounting and proper internal controls
