The ideal packaging tech has spent a minimum of 6 months packaging a beverage. During work hours, the tech should be able and willing to show up on time, be able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly, and work a shift ranging from 6-12 hours. They must have the ability to stop and start all equipment present on packaging line, and possess all skills required of an entry level tech. They must be certified in forklifting by HVBC and have the ability to forklift both empty glass pallets and completed product. They must understand box erection and stamping, glass loading, label loading, casing, pallet wrapping, and proper pallet labeling technique. They must know all routines involving sanitation in the general packaging area, but not of the filler.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferred packaging experience of 1 year
  • Preferred Forklift experience
  • Must be 21yrs of age or older

Has at least 1 year of Forklift Experience and has valid Forklift Certification in Oregon. Assists in loading and unloading trucks with raw material, or finished product. Has an eye for quality and a willingness to help out in any situation involving Brewery Operations. Able to lift 50-150lb’s. Works directly with another forklift operator to manage warehouse products and keep warehouse organized and clean.

Will be required to drive a Box Truck to different locations in Oregon occasionally.

The Entry Level Packaging Tech must have basic experience working in a team environment. During work hours, the tech should be able and willing to show up on time, be able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly, and work a shift ranging from 6-12 hours. They must be able to take instruction in a fast paced production environment and have the ability to work at each packaging station. As time progresses, they will be expected to learn fork lifting, sanitation routines, and to startup and shut down the line at their station without instruction.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to lift up to 75lbs throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
