District Sales Manager – Arizona

Do you like beer??  Do you like to entertain with a great tasting beverage in your hand? Hop Valley Brewing Co. is looking for an enthusiastic and fun self-starter to sell Hop Valley beer in the Arizona area.

Job Summary: This position is responsible for sales, communication, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling Hop Valley products. Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers and develops long term relationships thru trust with our distributor partners and our retail customers. This position is responsible for using past knowledge and experience within the beer industry, retail support data and local market trends to drive sales and profitability for Hop Valley Brewing. District Sales Managers oversee all the issues pertaining to our customers and distributor partners experience such as quality control, retail execution, promotional and sampling efforts behind all of the brands in the Hop Valley Portfolio throughout the On & Off Premise segments within their sales territory. This job requires a strong knowledge of beer, sales experience in the On & Off Premise segments of the beer business combined with powerful communication and good time management skills. This position reports to the Region Sales Manager for your territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Programs such as BeerMate, VIP
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task with good organizational skills
  • Must be comfortable with public speaking to large groups
  • Ability to travel within given territory and occasionally out of state
  • Work flexible hours including nights/weekends and over 8 hours a day
  • A self-starter with analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Grow Hop Valley sales volume in the On & Off Premise marketplace
  • Execute work-withs with distributor font line sales rep in your market and provide documentation with VIP Mobile
  • Communicate often with distributor sales force and drive focus to the Hop Valley Brand
  • Play an active role in category management with distributor partners to ensure space growth in the market

Warehouse Associate – N Polk

Hop Valley Brewing Co. is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Warehouse Team!

Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate is expected to pull orders, wrap pallets and tag for specific customers…Load and unload trucks in a safe and timely manner, manage the forklift, including product and dunnage. The Warehouse Associate will maintain and continually improve a FIFO system in the warehouses and ensure our product is handled with the highest amount of care. Willingness to learn multiple departments and be flexible with brew schedules is a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Always maintain safe operation of forklift
  • Check all product in and out; record any/all damages, shortages/overages
  • Load and unload trucks daily and with accuracy
  • Pull orders following FIFO guidelines
  • Must be able to work in and out of coolers for long periods of time
  • Make deliveries in the Box Truck
  • Follow all company policies & procedures, always reflect organizational core values and strive to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Practice safe work methods and comply with wearing and using the proper PPE 100% of the time on the floor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting on the Variety Pack

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Racking 1

Hop Valley Brewing Co. is looking for an fun, energetic individual to join our team and rack our beer!

Job Summary: The Racking 1 position is expected to assume all responsibilities relating to the filling of draught kegs for your shift. This position will be required to work on your own at times. Complete daily tasks that are requested of you by either the Production Manager or Racking 2 position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Understand the racking line set-up & sanitation. Will uphold all standards of sanitation and organization.
  • Chemical trained (best practice for handling chemicals)
  • How to introduce and remove beer from the IDD Machines
  • Work with Production Manager to keep the production schedule on pace
  • Communicate well with management and Racking 2 position
  • Fill out daily production reports in excel and entering production into Orchestrated Beer
  • Be able to operate an electric pallet jack
  • Complete monthly trainings with the Racker position
  • Complete monthly Safety training on time
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Uphold all safety standards
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work varied hours including weekends
  • Forklift Certified
  • Ability to assist in other areas of the Brewery/Warehouse as needed
