All applicants will have a current General Journeyman Electrician license and be legally eligible to perform plant electrical work in the State of Oregon.

The scope of this job will include all production and restaurant equipment in our two locations. The electrician will work primarily in the Eugene production brewery, ensuring the equipment and facility stay in sound, legal working order. Duties will include both new and existing installations, preventative maintenance, and unplanned maintenance. In addition, the electrician will be needed for general maintenance, so general maintenance skills are desirable.

The ideal candidate will have a background in plant level systems, including both AB and Siemens hardware and software, understanding of basic tank temperature control, digital/analog controls, basic brewhouse operations, and an understanding of the fundamentals of production line equipment circuits etc. We operate 24 hours a day, and although this is a day shift position, some call-in work may be required.

Safety is a very important company value at Hop Valley. Candidates must understand Lock out / Tag out / Try out, and due to the nature of the job, the electrician will be expected to show exemplary performance and knowledge when working in the plant.

In addition, the ideal electrician will have basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office. Knowledge using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, and understanding it’s role in plant level work flow will be crucial for the job.

Cellar Hand 1 will be responsible for sanitation of all tanks in cellar, and the cellar itself. This will require a knowledge of working with beverage lines, triclamps, centrifugal pumps, and basic cellar chemicals. This is a physical job, and the cellar hand will have to be on their feet for most of the 8 hour shift. Must be comfortable working in a steamy, wet environment while performing basic tasks.

District Sales Managers oversee all of the issues pertaining to our customers and distributor partner’s experience, such as quality control, retail execution, promotional and sampling efforts behind all of the brands in the Hop Valley portfolio throughout the On & Off Premise segments within their sales territory.
