Hop Valley Brewing is looking for a Retail & Events Coordinator that will be a key member of the Hop Valley Marketing team; overseeing Retail, Events, and local Community outreach efforts. This individual will be responsible for ordering and managing inventory levels of merchandise and apparel, as well as coordinating local events and donations hosted and/or sponsored by Hop Valley.

Retail – Responsible for all Merchandise sold through pubs and online store:

  • Assisting with creation, design, and garment selection of new items
  • Managing seasonal calendar of new items and sales
  • Approvals and Ordering of all merchandise sold
  • Managing HV online store
  • Stocking and maintaining inventory levels at Pubs
  • Counting and Reporting Inventory on & off site each month
  • Communicating with pub new items and special promotions
  • Communicating with agency on special promotions and social
  • Assisting Vendor with special orders and web fulfillments

Events – Lead for Hop Valley Local Events:

  • Lead for Hop Valley Local Events
  • Planning and coordination of events hosted at Hop Valley Brewing
  • Coordination of local events and activations sponsored by Hop Valley in the Eugene/Springfield area
  • Managing individual Event budgets
  • Assisting Marketing team with planning and promotion

Community – Lead for Hop Valley community and giveback efforts:

  • Working closely with local non-profits and coordinating philanthropic opportunities
  • Coordinating Hop Valley Pub giveback donations and events
  • Communicating Community outreach efforts

Donations

  • Receiving and processing Donation requests submitted through HV website
  • Responding and fulfilling approved donations
  • Managing donation checks and applicable forms

Quality Control / Customer Service – Lead for Hop Valley Customer Service

  • Responding to all consumer complaints received online
  • Ordering and shipping replacement product
  • Communicating Quality complaints with QC department
  • Logging all consumer complaints

Shipping

  • Receiving special delivery requests from Leadership and Sales team
  • Ordering and delivering beer to beer shipping service
  • Communicating delivery dates to respective parties
  • Coordinating FedEx Freight shipments

Special Projects

  • Assisting with internal company events and meetings
  • Coordinating special requests from Leadership team

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Experience in Retail and/or Event Management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers/vendors/staff.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Extremely organized; can plan & manage timelines
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities, work independently
  • Available to attend evening and weekend events
  • Passionate about our local community and philanthropic efforts
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
